This is a bad year to be a Dolphins fan

I arrived in Miami in September of 1972, just as they began their undefeated season. I stayed for a decade. I was a vague acquaintance of and admirer of "Mercury" Morris. I lived with the team's and Gene's successes and failures throughout the 70s before I moved to Texas. When I got to Dallas, the first Cotton Bowl I ever went to featured Pitt - whose quarterback went on to be a Dolphin legend as well as Jim Carrey's co-star in Ace Ventura. The 'phins are still my team, kinda. How bad are they now? Well, 0-12 sorta speaks for itself, but that's not the half of it. The Jets are probably the second-worst team in the NFL, and they beat the Dolphins 40-13! Ouch. Laces out, Dan!
