It's about freakin' time. Considering that he's already one of the top hitters in baseball and is still a young kid, there is virtually no limit to his potential. Last year, as a fat slob, he hit .320 with 34 dingers and 119 rbi's - a typical Hank Aaron prime year, in fact VERY comparable to Aaron's 1961. But Aaron was then a disciplined 27, and Cabrera was only 24 last year. If the guy is Hank Aaron when he's 70 pounds overweight, imagine what he could do if he were in shape. If he could get in shape, stay in shape, and spend the rest of his career with the Rockies, he'd be a decent bet to be remembered as the greatest player ever, despite his sub-par play at third base. Even without Coors he seems to be a sure Hall of Famer.
