"The video clip below from Maury is a perfect example of the kind of thing that makes the show hugely popular with the daytime television crowd. It shows a chair swing ride at a fairground in some country where safety standards are nonexistent. The swing collapses and someone captures it all on camera. Its old footage and if you are a YouTube junkie, you've probably seen it before. Sure the video is shocking. But what is worse is Maury's guest, who narrates what happens while the audience gasps in horror at the video. They even go out of their way to point out how one of the kids in the ride gets tossed into the air when the ride hits the ground. Then they highlight it with a red circle in case you didn't see it the first time. Then just in case you missed it the first two times, they show it to you again."
