When average Americans rank the Presidents, JFK is always near the top, although objective analysts find him mediocre - below Eisenhower, about even with LBJ.Most agree that Warren Harding belongs at the bottom, with some competition from the mediocrities before and after Lincoln. Ol' Harding himself concurs with this evaluation: "I am not fit for this office and never should have been here."
