I'm not the one to evaluate the nature of universal compassion, but taunting one's fellow creatures with dingo dung doesn't sound all that compassionate to me. When I used to do it to my classmates in fourth grade, nobody ever said "Little Scoop, you're being too gosh-darn compassionate."
