Everything went back to normal after Halloween night, and the films finished in the expected order, with the only anomaly being that the totals were generally quite a bit below expectations. That can be attributed mostly to the fact that the top 12 took in only $14 million on Friday - compared to $45 million the previous Friday! Last weekend was 40% above the previous year. This weekend was 40% below! (That's the Halloween effect, I guess.)The biggest casualty was Zach and Miri, which finished about 30% below expectations. Looks like Silent Bob picked the wrong week to give up sniffin' glue.
