Specifically, June 17th, 2 BC.I hate to be picky, but I believe King Herod died two years earlier than that (late March or early April of 4 BC), so 2 BC is right out, assuming you accept the Herod portion of the nativity story, and I can't come up with a good reason to accept the star portion if one rejects the Herod portion.
