I can't believe that makes national news. Unless there was a note -It was dropped by a bird! Happens all the time. When I lived near the beach I would see it quite often. Bird catches fish, flies away and accidentally drops it. In this case it might have looked down saw it caught a shark and dropped it on purpose!
