Northern Iowa (#9) marks yet another team to advance to the Sweet 16 from the bottom half of the brackets. They join St Mary's (#10) and the Washington Huskies (#11), who slaughtered New Mexico. The Huskies were probably mis-seeded, but be that as it may, they will be the worst-seeded team to make this year's Sweet Sixteen unless the Cornell Big Red can ride their current hot streak (16 wins in their last 17 games) to a win over Wisconsin tomorrow.
