Remember all that baloney about the Saints restoring hope to a demoralized city? Well, New Orleans can now resume demoralized life after the Saints get crushed at home by the lowly Cleveland Browns.

Does that "inspiration" crap work in reverse? Because if it does, a home loss to the Cleveland Browns, during which the punchless Browns once held a 30-10 lead, ought to get the Louisiana city feeling all oil-spilly and hurricaney again.

The Browns managed approximately zero offense. They had only 12 first downs, 24 minutes of possession, and a mere 210 total yards, but they won the day with four interceptions of Drew Brees, two of which were run back for TDs.

Curious fact o' the day: "For the third straight year, the Browns beat the reigning Super Bowl champion." Games against reigning champions are just about the only games the Browns can win.
