This is Box Office Mojo's speculation, based upon the idea that Potter will experience a monumental descent from weekend one to weekend two. He thinks it will drop from $169 to $48, a fall in excess of 70%. The logic behind his thinking is that Potter's first weekend was actually $126 million, excluding the phenomenal $43 million on Thursday night, and the series has historically dropped about 60% in weekend two, so ... you do the math.
He may be too conservative, but taking the argument in that general direction also makes sense based on the daily receipts. Deathly Hallows 2 has actually taken in less on the Thursday and Friday ($23M cumulatively) following its opening weekend than Deathly Hallows 1 ($25M). The first part then took in less than $50M on its second weekend, so it is reasonable to assume that the second will follow.
Captain America is tracking somewhere between X-Men and Thor, which indicates that it will probably gross around $60M, so the Manly Muggle may well take off Harry Potter's glasses and stomp on them.
Or not.
