An investment manager reviewed Rep. Paul’s portfolio as set out in the annual disclosure statement. He says he has never seen such an extreme bet on economic catastrophe.
”This portfolio is a half-step away from a cellar-full of canned goods and nine-millimeter rounds.”
I think the expert's analysis is misleading, because it compares Ron Paul's portfolio to an average American's, not to the typical portfolio for a person his age. Ron Paul is 76 years old. Many people that age do have a cellar full of canned goods and ammunition. (My own parents had the endless shelves full of canned goods and toilet paper, but not the ammunition.)
