Sherlock took first place with about $40m, while the Chipmunks finished a distant second with $23m. Those numbers were lower than expected.
MI4 did quite well with an average of $30,000 per theater - three times as much as Sherlock. It took in $13M - 3rd place - with just a sneak preview.
Young Adult failed to draw any kind of crowd. It grossed a mere $3M in 1000 theaters.
