Goldfinger was considered the best for several decades, but it has now fallen into a distant second place behind Casino Royale. Interesting to me is the fact that #3 is On Her Majesty's Secret Service, the only film to star George Lazenby, who was soon sacked from the role. In fourth place, albeit far behind numbers two and three, is Golden Eye, making it the most popular Pierce Brosnan effort. Fifth place goes to Roger Moore's signature effort, Live and Let Die. (Among the Moore offerings, I think I enjoy The Man With the Golden Gun better that LALD, but I kinda like it because it's silly, a criterion no Bond purist would respect.)
As for poor Dalton, he continues to get no respect.
According to the poll, Daniel Craig's two films are now most popular Bond film and the least popular. (Tied for least popular, actually. Several films have received no votes in the poll.)
