"Thanks to a weak field of newcomers, Ben Affleck’s Oscar contender Argo led the box office on Friday, the first day of its third weekend. The Warner Bros. thriller dropped by a slim 21 percent from last Friday, and it now looks headed for about $13 million and its first weekend win."
Silent Hill 3D and Cloud Atlas were deadlocked for second place with about $3.5 million each.
The teen comedy Fun Size took in $1.3 million, and the Gerard Butler surfing movie sold one ticket to Gerard's mum. (Actually $800,000)
Among the holdovers, Paranormal Activity 4 nosedived 79% from last Friday
