NCAA College Football Scores, Week #13

NCAA College Football Scores, Week #13

There was nothing unexpected among the top nine teams, but it was absolute insanity after that:

#10 Florida State lost
#11 Clemson lost to ...
#12 ... South Carolina (won)
#13 Oklahoma won
#14 Nebraska won against a weak opponent
#15 Oregon State lost
#16 Texas lost
#17 UCLA lost
#18 Rutgers got crushed by a 4-6 team.
#19 Michigan lost
#20 Louisville lost
#21 Oklahoma State lost
#22 Boise State DNP
#23 Kent State won
#24 Arizona lost
#25 Washington lost to a 2-9 team.

This creates a situation where #23 Kent State, already overrated by an incredible 42 places according to Sagarin's predictor method, could move up several more spots, while some other unlikely teams could move into the top 25. Northern Illinois should move into that group, for example, despite not having played a ranked opponent all year, although when they play Kent State next week, both teams should be in the top 25. Who could have predicted that?
