Warm Bodies (3000 theaters; PG-13; 73% positive reviews). Given the good reviews, it must be better than it sounds: "A funny new twist on a classic love story, WARM BODIES is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human - setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world."
Bullet to the Head (2400 theaters; R; 47% positive reviews). Stallone doing Stallony-type stuff. Those who have previewed the film report that the R was earned by T&A from Sarah Shahi and Weronika Rosati.
Stand Up Guys (650 theaters; R; 32% positive reviews). Pacino, Walken, and Arkin as old crooks reuniting after one of them gets out of jail. "Stand Up Guys largely wastes its talented cast in a resolutely mediocre comedy hampered by messy direction and a perfunctory script." The R is for violence and drug use.
Box office: Stand-Up Guys, being in only 600 theaters, is going nowhere. The other two might finish 1-2, but don't expect any big numbers. Warm Bodies should be in the high teens, and Bullet to the Head will be lucky to reach double figures.
