Highlights:

#14 Harvard upset New Mexico.

#12 Oregon upset Oklahoma St (and won rather handily). That wasn't really an upset despite the apparent 5-12 pairing. Oregon was the Vegas betting favorite! One ESPN analyst pointed out that the #12 seeding for Oregon was an obvious mistake that the committee just never caught. They should have been approximately a #7.

Gonzaga almost became the first #1 seed ever to lose a first-round game. The score was 56-56 late in the game, but the Zags kept their cool and prevailed.

Syracuse won 81-34. That was the widest margin of victory in tournament history for a team seeded worse than #3.
