"Actress Amanda Bynes was arrested by police in her Midtown apartment after officers were called there for a report of a disorderly person Thursday night, law enforcement sources said.
When officers arrived at Bynes' apartment on West 47th Street, she threw a bong out the window. She was arrested on a charge of reckless endangerment.
Bynes was taken to Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, then to a Midtown police station to be processed."

Here's the thing as to why nobody really gives a shit with Amanda Bynes' antics. It's simple really. She hasn't shown the goods! Paris, Lindsay,Britney and others all managed to show the goods during their respective breakdown moments and as such remain relevant.Even Miley Cyrus has given us cameltoe shots and nipslips to work with. With Amanda Bynes, she carefully keeps her outbursts "PG" rated (bra pics & pot smoking)in hopes of getting her career back without having done too much damage (like Lohan). The quid pro quo of show biz today - show us your tits, crotch,or sex tape and you can have your career and spotlight back. Amanda Bynes doesn't seem to get that.
