It's good to see that in a highly pragmatic world we are back to asking the big questions that define our existence. Why are we here? Why don't magazines put vaginas on the cover? Is goat meat the next big thing?
I am, however, having a bit of difficulty believing the following quote:
“I’ve had an increase in not only ethnic populations but just everyday Americans coming and saying they’ve heard about goat meat--they want to try it. They’ll get a small goat and butcher it and then they come back for a larger goat.”
I'm not sure what strains my credulity in this quotation. It could be that I can't imagine the average American butchering a goat in the back yard, but that may be because I live in the wrong neighborhood. More likely, the seeds of doubt have been planted because the speaker is (I did not make this up) "the president of the Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia Meat Goat Producers Association," or as I like to call them, the MPWVMGPA. (Catchy name!)
