TTU student allowed to wear pasta strainer in official photo

"It sounds like a joke, but it's actually a political statement from a group of atheists who 'worship' the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Castillo, a Texas Tech student, is the first person in the country allowed to wear this kind of religious headgear in a legal identification photo."

It's a religious thing, doncha see? If Islamic women can wear burkas then, by extension, Pastafarians can wear pasta strainers. And, as you must know, Texas is the world's foremost bastion of religious sensitivity.

In fact, I belong to a religion that worships Groucho Marx, and here's my Texas DL.
