NFL Football Scores - Week 3

NFL Football Scores - Week 3
Wow. What happened in New York? The Jets are not as bad as everyone expected (513 yards of offense), and the Giants really suck (38-0 loss!). The Giants turned the ball over three more times this week, and added yet another element of futility to their weak passing attack - seven sacks!

The hapless Packers pulled off a bit of a miracle. They ran up 100 yards more offense than Cincinnati, scored thirty unanswered points in one stretch, and forced the Bengals into four turnovers - and still managed to lose! That took a real team effort.

The Steelers really managed to show how important it is not to turn it over. They outgunned the Bears 459-258 in yards from scrimmage, but coughed it up five times compared to none for the Bears. (Five net turnovers are equivalent to approximately 350 yards of net offense, which means the Steelers finished the game with something like minus 150 net yards instead of plus 200.)
