We don't know that these will be bad. Let's put it this way: these concepts seem like incredibly bad ideas, but some bad ideas seem to result in good movies, like Pirates of the Caribbean, Memento, The Social Network, The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street. At least one great comedy (Groundhog Day) sounded like the worst-ever idea for a movie and turned out to be a work of genius.
