I used the audit service and found that only 28% of my followers are real. How did I get fake ones? Good question. I have no idea at all, other than that I didn't do anything to produce them. Maybe the auditing system is flawed, or maybe my "fakes" are actually "inactives," or maybe Twitter is filled with bots that attach themselves to random accounts. I can see that my followers include tons of people that I don't know and didn't solicit, but I don't really know what that means.
