He really despised this one, as opposed to the new Mad Max movie, which he loved (see below). It's way more fun to read his comments about Aloha.

"Aloha is a muddled heap of bullshit and horseshit, unlikable characters mostly doing uninteresting stuff, all shown through the lens of a Hawaiian culture dilettante. In sum it feels like the fever dream of a corporate asshole with some very strong but mundane opinions. This is the sort of storytelling you'd expect from a guy with picture books of golf courses on his coffee table, a guy who collects watches and refuses to drink cheap scotch. A guy who went to Hawaii, bought a book about local culture in the Hilton gift shop and had an awakening about the plight of the natives."
