All four #1 seeds are still in the hunt. Back in 2008, the Final Four consisted of four #1 seeds, although Steph Curry almost ruined that by averaging 32 points per game in leading lowly Davidson to the Elite Eight with upset wins over Gonzaga (40 for Curry), Georgetown (30) and Wisconsin (33). Curry scored 25 in the second half against Georgetown, pushing the team to overcome a 17-point deficit. He and his teammates finally succumbed to #1 seed Kansas by the narrowest of margins (59-57).
