The Marlins had offered fans a percentage discount on future tickets equal to the number of homers poled by the powerful slugger.
So ... 61% off?
No way.
They reneged!
The sad thing is that they never thought it through in the first place. If they had restricted the offer to a couple of select mid-week games, they could have honored any result. Now they are sitting on a PR nightmare.
