Rachel Dolezal Claims She's "A Woke Soul Sista" in New Autobiography

Yeah, her childhood in rural Montana really gave her plenty of street cred. It's almost like she's Samuel L Jackson with a vag.

One of her many eccentric claims is that having to do her chores as a rural Midwestern child taught her what slavery was like. Honest. I didn't make that up.

Another classic: "Her first marriage ended in divorce because she 'was a little too Black' for her black husband’s 'tastes.' In this marriage, Dolezal learned a painful lesson, 'that a Black man could be, culturally and philosophically, as white as any white man.' In other words, Dolezal feels blacker than actual black people."

... waiting for her first hip-hop album

  1. She's clearly got issues (and her estranged parents seem to have had a significant hand in cultivating them), but it always astounded me that her case made it to the national media.

There are probably thousands of women of partial or majority African descent who try to pass themselves off as White to secure White spouses or further careers in actual lines of for profit business.

Dolezal passed as Black to seize the majesty and power incumbent upon the President of the Spokane branch of the NAACP. (Which national organization does not require you to be "colored" for membership.) In other words, for absolutely nothing.

  2. ugh. Just the thought that she will likely make money off this leaves me so disgusted that I despair of ever being gusted again.
