Astros vs. Dodgers - going to game seven
Verlander probably stayed in one inning too long, but who could have known? He was pitching a one-hitter through five, and had allowed only that one batter more than the minimum. The sixth was a different story. The first four batters came up: single, HBP, double, SF.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers' pitching staff came through, especially the bullpen, which allowed only two hits in 4 1/3. Kenley Jansen threw 19 pitches - 18 of them in the strike zone!
