Well, the Cubs at least got one
It was 3-2, with only 9 hits between the two teams. All five runs scored on solo homers. Not my kind of game.
Nice job by young Javier Baez, the Cubs 2B, who hit two of those five homers. Pretty nice production out of the seven hole. That kid has some pop in his bat, and his power numbers improve every year, but the knock on him is that he just won't take a walk. His lifetime OBP is .300. (The MLB average is .324, and there has only been one year when it dipped below .300 since 1888 - and that was .299)
