Who coined the term "Fake News," and when?
The term "fake news" dates back to that halcyon summer of 1890, when men had giant mustaches, bicycles had big front tires, and Larry King had to broadcast in the town square with a megaphone.
As far as I can recall, it was Norm MacDonald who really put the term on the map when he was hosting Weekend Update in the mid-90s, and would begin his segment with "I'm Norm MacDonald and this is the fake news."
