Chronology of U.S.-North Korean Nuclear and Missile Diplomacy

The non-nuclear current agreement with North Korea is essentially identical to every other agreement intended to accomplish the same end, dating back to 1992. North Korea has agreed to denuclearize many times, and has reneged each time. In 2012, for example, they reneged within three weeks of signing a deal to suspend nuclear activities and missile launches in return for humanitarian aid.
