The attorneys general of 24 states have sent a letter to MPAA chief Jack Valenti urging him to use his influence in Hollywood to persuade the major studios to reduce the depiction of smoking in movies. They don't have any objection to extreme violence and gore, so kill whomever you please by any grisly means possible but, whatever you do, don't light up a White Owl
