Critics of US Mideast policy are racist, says Condi. I know it sounds loony, but she actually has a valid point somewhere in the middle of the rhetoric. Opponents of the Bush Doctrine argue that people in the Middle East are "not ready for" or "not interested in" democracy - precisely the same argument that white people used to deny black people the vote in America's past.
