This week's movies: Ray - 78% positive reviews. That high score is deceptive. Reviewers liked it because of some strong positives, but were not that enthuisiastic. A summary of critical opinion is that the film (1) has lots of great Ray Charles music (2) features a brilliant performance by Jamie Foxx (3) but is a routine by-the-numbers biopic.
