Urban Legend: A Texas woman who cast her vote for all Democratic candidates discovered her ballot marked for Bush/Cheney. Status: True.
  • Hell, here in Texas, Bush and Cheney probably have the Democratic party endorsement.
  • There is an ... um ... innocent explanation, but it doesn't really matter. As Saddam did in Iraq, Bush is expected to get about 102% of the votes in Texas, and we only have so many electoral votes, so ...
  • (That Saddam thing is no joke, by the way. Saddam had 100% of the vote, with 100% of all eligible voters having voted - until some election officials found some uncounted absentee ballots, and Saddam finished with 102 votes for every 100 eligible voters! This was still far short of LBJ's record here in Texas.)
