Director John Madden (SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE) has been selected to turn Elmore Leonard's crime noir novel KILLSHOT into a Miramax movie. At one point Quentin Tarantino wanted to be the man in the director's chair but things failed to materialize. Tarantino or Madden? I can see that. They have a lot in common. Why not do both? I'm pretty sure they could both make the same movie and nobody would realize they were using the same source novel.
