- They certainly came up with some obscure choices, but you have to applaud their effort to make people aware that the film canon is far more encompassing than we realize. I've never heard of some of these, so that will pique my curiosity, and maybe I'll learn something.
- I like the fact that the authors have reinvigorated the sagging reputations of some outstanding films like Kind Hearts and Coronets.
- Interesting to see Miller's Crossing make the list. When that film came out in 1990, it was ignored by the Academy and moviegoers alike, but its reputation keeps growing - and deservedly, in my opinion.
