Katherine Harris Asserts That Newspapers Doctored Photos to Distort Her Makeup
  • I take comfort in living in a country in which newspaper staffers have nothing better to do with their time.

  1. You live in a country where the premier newspaper has reporters making up news to meet p.c. standards so why is it so hard to believe they wouldn't vilify someone they want to discredit?

  2. Don't forget the "darkened" OJ cover from 1994, when he was busted for murder. And some friends of mine remember a "People" magazine cover from 1984, featuring a photo of the late Ricky Nelson tinted whiter to make him look corpselike.

Of course they would discredit her that way...but nobody really cares. Her complaint just makes her seem petty and self-important.

I think you missed my point.

I wasn't implying that they didn't do it.

(Although if they did do it, it's downright dumb, because it makes no sense to doctor photos of anyone. No matter how beautiful a person is, you can find unflattering photos of them. You can find photos that make Jessica Alba and Brad Pitt look ugly and distorted. You just need to look for the right combination of bad light and odd facial expression ...)
