The trailer from The World's Fastest Indian
  • "Centers on the life of Burt Monro, a New Zealander who invested several decades building a 1920 Indian motorcycle. He then traveled to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, where he set the land-speed world record in the 1970s."

  1. I just saw a preview screening of this in advance of the Toronto Film Festival. Anthony Hopkins was great. Actually Burt continually rebuilt that motorcycle to reach a top speed of 201.85 mph at Bonneville in 1963, Its original max was about 54 mph. Burt went to Bonneville a total of nine times and apparently his record for a sub-1000cc. motorcycle still stands.
