Video: Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B - A Walter Lantz Cartoon from 1941 which is no longer shown
It has essentially been banished because of what many perceive to be demeaning racial imagery. They have a point. The portrayal of black people, while not hateful, does illustrate our unsophisticated thinking in those days. The score for the cartoon is a great illustration of 1940s musical styles.
