ROTTEN TOMATOES: Movies Opening this week
The mainstream releases are apparently complete crap again.

  • Dead Silence: not pre-screened for critics. A ventriloquist with an evil dummy.'Nuff said.

  • I Love My Wife: 18% positive reviews. General consensus: "WTF? Chris Rock directing and starring in a remake of a French art film?"

  • Premonition: 10% positive reviews. General consensus: "Why would Sandra Bullock agree to appear in crap like this?" Scoop's note: "You're surprised that Sandra Bullock is in a bad movie? She has probably been in more bad movies than any woman alive."

  1. (5.50) - In Love and War (1996)

  20. (3.21) - Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997)
  21. (3.02) - Hangmen (1987)

That's a record of bad movies you have to envy, unless of course you happen to be Eric Roberts. That's a shame, too, because she seems like a nice person and I always like her on screen, but I almost always hate her movies.
