"Teachers are trying to sue and shut down a website that names and shames them and gives them a mark out of five."When I was in college, there was a student-generated publication which provided tons of information about teachers, both objective (% of students getting each grade) and subjective (the students' answers to various multiple-choice survey questions). It was the greatest invention since canned beer, and was soon shut down by university officials. Ever since I can remember, teachers have, as a group, always been afraid of the truth, which seems ironic when you consider what their job should be!
"Beauty is truth, truth beauty, — that is all Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know." - J. Keats
I'm not sure how much value this sort of rating site has in high school, where the students have few options, but I think it should be widely propagated at the university level.
