At the end of April, Soriano had precisely NO homers. On June 1, he had amassed only four homers in 194 at bats and was hitting .289.Then he just went on a tear. Since then he has gone 18 for 33 with six homers, raising his season average 37 points to .326 and his slugging average 112 points to .566 - all in one week!
