"Ron Goldman's family wants TMZ.com to pay big bucks in damages for posting O.J. Simpson's 'If I Did It' online yesterday, destroying the book's potential value in the publishing market."Here it is in flash, MS Word, text, or .pdf format. (I guess this is the real deal.) O.J. Simpson: If I Did It
If that link is swamped, here is a RapidShare link to the .pdf, and here's a MegaUpload link. It's also all over the BitTorrent universe.
According to this version, which is some melange of truth and fiction in ratios unknown, there is a new character in the drama, a mysterious friend named "Charlie" who became an accomplice when he disposed of the evidence for OJ, and who actually witnessed both murders. If Charlie exists, it's astounding that he managed to remain anonymous, given the publicity accorded this case. I suppose his existence does make sense in one respect, because it explains the most mysterious element of the case - how OJ disposed of the murder weapon and the bloody clothing. If Charlie is non-fictional and did dispose of the evidence of a double murder, it certainly explains why he has never come forward voluntarily.
