DRUDGE REPORT FLASH 2007®

"CBS EVENING NEWS anchor Katie Couric is being accused of slapping an editor -- after he injected a word she detested into a script!
The word was "sputum." Interestingly, Dan Rather used to go nuts every time the editors forced him to say "Niagara Falls."
