When I lived in Vienna, my tiny house was 12 feet wide in the front and back, but it was no big deal at all. It was 30 feet deep, and three stories tall. To tell you the truth, there was nothing really unusual about living in a narrow house. In essence, it was three rooms 12x10 and three 12x20, which is not so odd. Nothing really seemed any different from a normal house.
