The show later apologized, with Vieira explaining that not only would they never say "cunt," but female members of the Today show staff were not even allowed to have cunts, having had them removed and placed in a blind trust before their contracts would be approved. "We at NBC don't believe in offending our audience, except maybe on American Gladiators. The entire blame for the interview should be place squarely on Jane Fonda, who is basically an old cunt."

Here in Amherst, Massachusetts our HIGH SCHOOL is going to perform 'The Vagina Monologues' tomorrow night. And No, School officials are not going to issue an apology for allowing a teenager to scream the C-word in public. Yes, this is the same High School that in 1999 became the only entity in history to ban a production of 'West Side Story'. Now you know why I call my Blog "Only in Amherst!"
