Some of you are thinking, "Who?" Keller was both deaf and blind but learned to comminicate effectively and eventually graduated magna cum laude from Radcliffe. Her story became well known to the baby boomer generation through a movie called The Miracle Worker in which a teenaged Patty Duke won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar as Helen Keller and Anne Bancroft won the Best Actress Oscar as Anne Sullivan.
