The guys who perform the song are actually Czech, and if I understand it right, this was actually filmed in 1978.One Czech website wrote: "What is so catchy about that song to the Polish? Is it the singing style of the major singer, Ivan Mladek, or is it the dancing maneuvers of his “side-kick” Ivo Pesak? No one knows. But one thing is clear. The Polish people love Jozin z Bazin so much that some want him to become the future president of Poland (as some of the street graffiti reveal)"
It can be very difficult to admit being Polish.
